There’s a quick and very sudden drop in the amount of fats they eat.

Your body will hoard fat by doing this which is a problem. We don’t want to do that here as your body will attempt to keep a hold of every last bit of fat on your body. The body needs a bare minimum amount of fat each and every day, which is supplied through diet, so being extreme with your intake isn’t good. Often people think they should cut out fat from their diet by avoiding food containing high amounts of fat. We agree to fat intake up to a point, as you can’t do the opposite and eat lots of fatty foods. However, you want to reduce your intake of fat instead of stop having any fat at all. The reason has to do with the starvation principle. This phenomenon happens when you starve your body of something, and your body reacts by conserving that which it is being deprived. Totally eliminating all fats from your diet will make your body conserve and store fat even more.
